El Niño Southern Oscillation: how it impacts the world and what does it mean to us?   El Niño 2015-2016 is affecting more than 60 million people across the globe.* Recent record shows that over the last 20 years, 90% of major disasters have been caused by different weathers, floods, storms, heatwaves, droughts, and other weather related events.
